Farmers Markets

At your Vacaville Farmers’ Market, the produce is always fresh, always seasonal, and always provided by your local farmers and ranchers. The market runs every Saturday from 9 am – 1 pm, May through October. Get more information about Farmers Markets and Produce Stand in Vacaville.

For 25 years, Vacavillians have savored their Downtown Vacaville Farmers Market Saturday mornings for the fresh, local organic produce, handmade goods, and familiar faces. This year, that tradition continues with layout modifications and grower limitations to ensure shopper safety during the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Downtown Vacaville Business Improvement District (BID), working in partnership with the City of Vacaville and Pacific Coast Farmers’ Market Association will once again host a Saturday Morning Farmers’ Market at the Creekwalk Plaza in Andrews Park. Farmers’ Markets are considered essential under California’s stay at home order. Shoppers are asked to enter the market via the Main and Davis Street bridge and exit via School Street. The market will be limited to agricultural products and operate with social distancing measures, more space between booths and handwashing stations. No food sampling will be permitted. Live music at the market will also be postponed until further notice. Downtown Vacaville BID’s Executive Director Brooke Fox states “As our supermarkets experience increased demand and food chain disruptions, it’s more crucial than ever to provide access to fresh, locally-grown, hand-harvested produce”.

By popular demand, last season the Market returned to its’ 8AM-12PM time slot to help folks beat the heat. Opening day is May 2, 2020. Admission to the market is always free. The 2020 Market season will run through October 24th with no market on July 4th due to the holiday. Free parking is available on East Main St., George E. Duke Parking Lot and surrounding areas. Dogs on leashes are allowed in the park but will not be permitted in the market.

While current state and county restrictions only allow for essential ag products like fruits and vegetables to be sold at the market, organizers will welcome back Arts & Crafts, Local retailers, Nonprofits and Hot Food Vendors as soon as restrictions are relaxed. Interested in selling at the market? See the form below.
